Hand Sanitizer — a poem about the times

Hand Sanitizer

Years, no, weeks ago,
I had no use for hand
Disinfectant.

No peering at label’s
Alcohol content,
Like I do for bottles
Of Cabernet, and
Moderate ETOH.

Or wipes, I mean
Who carried those
Around — cleansing
Store entrance knobs
And just purchased
Ho Hos.

Should I buy
A clear bottle
Or a tinted bottle?
Should I wear a mask?
May I touch my face,
Or my Wife’s —
My daughter’s rosy cheeks?

So many questions.
