Still waiting to be paid for a number of pieces published in a supposedly paying Medium publication. When I contact Medium they say, "Oh you'll have to contact them" when I write "them" I get no response. It's starting to feel like a pyramid scheme to me, but I also feel that the best way to make money via Medium is to "hook" people seeking advice; particularly about writing and publishing, rather than placing original work on this platform. I only maintain an account because I publish original work elsewhere but can "pool" it all here in one place after publication.
